Oatmeals
Hamlyns range of Speciality Oatmeals are available in four different grades - coarse, fine, medium and pinhead - for various culinary purposes. They come in 750g packs, and are available from a range of speciality retailers.
Hamlyns Fine Oatmeal can be used as a thickening
agent for soups, sauces and gravy.
Hamlyns Medium Oatmeal is ideal for porridge,
oatcakes, crumble toppings, stuffings and coating fish and meat before
frying.
Hamlyns Course Oatmeal has similar culinary
uses as medium oatmeal, but is ground to a coarser grade for extra texture.
It also makes a great coating for fish before frying or baking.
