Microwave Flapjacks

Makes one 20 cm (8 ins) round.

3tbsp golden syrup 225g (8oz) Hamlyns Scottish Porridge Oats
110g (4oz) soft brown sugar 1 tsp baking powder
110g (4oz) margarine 1 medium egg, beaten

Place syrup, sugar and margarine in a bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM for 1-2 minutes until melted. Stir well. Mix in the oats, baking powder and egg. Place the mixture evenly into a 20 cm/ 8 ins round microwaveable dish. Cook on HIGH for 2-5 minutes depending on the wattage of the microwave. Allow to stand for about 10 minutes to set. Cut into wedges to serve.
